Every time you submit an application to a gig you want to be a part of, there will be a promoter or talent booker who will be able to check their application inbox and review each artist who applied to their gig. (Read more about how to check your application's status here.)
Your EPK is submitted in tandem with every application you submit. Application requirements however may differ from promoter to promoter though. For instance, a songwriting contest will ask that you add a song and its lyrics to your application for consideration, which means other songs that are up on your EPK won't be considered for the contest.
Your EPK would be linked to your application for promoters who want to know more about you. So it's important that your EPK is filled out as best as possible. You can check out this article from our blog (blog.sonicbids.com) a few years back that's still very relevant into how promoters perceive you and your material.
If you have any questions about the status of your application or would like information on a particular opportunity, feel free to reach us through email at email@example.com and we’d be happy to help. :)
